My boys both have ADHD (really). We waited until Thomas was 11 and Philip 11 until they started taking drugs. The drugs do help. We are going to try biofeedback. With biofeedback therapy, we hope to take them off the drugs. In our case it was not immaturity, it was ADHD. But some kids should just start school later.
